Estimates have ranged form two billion to three billion onlookers for the royal wedding, a whopping 29% of the world's population tuning in to see William and Kate exchange vows. No matter the number it will dwarf the 750 million that watched the wedding of Charles and Diana. Tens of millions tuned in online via You Tube, CNN.com, MSNBC, a truly global event.

Sony announced two new Honeycomb tablets, the S1 and S2 powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2. The S1 is a 9.4-inch widescreen tablet, the S2 will be a dual-screen tablet which has two 5.5-inch screens. They both are capable of WiFi, 3G/4G and will be PlayStation-certified meaning that you’ll be able to access the PlayStation Suite store and play some PS1 games on them. Read more here.

Six years after the release of the monstrously successful Wii, Nintendo announces a new console; codenamed "Project Cafe". The new system is set for release in 2012. Nintendo plans to have a "playable model" of the new system ready in June for E3. E3 being held between June 7 - 9 in Los Angeles. E3 Expo.

Dell has unveiled three Sandy Bridge-powered Alienware gaming notebooks: the M11x, M14x and M18x. The largest laptop the M18x will be offered with an overclocked 4GHz Core i7 Extreme, a choice between a pair of AMD Radeon HD 6970M GPUs in CrossFireX configuration, or a pair of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M GPUs in SLI configuration. HP today announced a new lineup of mobile workstations, the Most powerful being the HP EliteBook 8760w which offers a 17.3-inch diagonal, high-definition screen, a choice of high-performing AMD FirePro or NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics and up to 4 gigabytes (GB) of video memory. On the heels of the Oak Trail announcement it appears that Intel will team with Android is a slew of new netbooks that will include offerings from Acer, Lenovo and Asus. This a day after word spread that AMD was hiring Android driver development engineers indicating it was set to enter the tablet and netbook segments. You can read more on the stories here and here.

Autodesk Brings AutoCAD WS Mobile App to Android

Autodesk has released an Android version of AutoCAD WS, the mobile app that views and edits DWG files. Like the original version for the Apple iOS environment, the free web and mobile application uses cloud computing technology. The product will be available for download starting April 20, 2011. In Las Vegas today at the 2011 NAB show Doldy Laboratories launched new Loudness Tools and Imaging Technology. Dolby will be showcasing its range of loudness products, including Dolby Media Meter 2 and Dolby Media Emulator for post-production, the Dolby DP568 Professional Reference Decoder, the Dolby DP600 Program Optimizer for distribution.
