Autodesk posts a 19% increase in Q2 earnings

Net earnings for the May-through-July period were $71.2 million, or 30 cents per share, up from $59.9 million, or 25 cents per share, in the second quarter of 2010. Revenue was $546.3 million, up 16 percent from $472.8 million a year earlier, sales were particularly strong in Asia, $143 million in the second quarter, up 24 percent.
