The Endeavor took flight this morning in the 2nd to last mission for the program

The Endeavor is set to deliver an Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer to the International Space Station during its 16 day mission in space. The space shuttle program which first took flight on April 12, 1981 has only one flight left on the schedule. The shuttle computers only carry one megabyte of memory up into space.
