TIBURON, CA-October 26, 2015– Jon Peddie Research (JPR), the industry's research and consulting firm for graphics and multimedia, today revealed three companies will be making major new product announcements at the Virtualize Conference, 29 October, at the Hyatt at SFO. http://www.jonpeddie.com/events/details/jpr-virtualize-2015

AMD will outline new multiuser graphics technology.

“AMD Multiuser GPU technology embedded into AMD GPUs is designed to deliver consistent and predictable performance,” Sean Burke, AMD corporate vice president and general manager, Radeon Technology Group. “End users get the same access to the GPU no matter their workload when these AMD GPUs are appropriately configured to the needs of an organization. The result is that each user is provided with the virtualized performance to design, create and execute their workflows without any one user tying up the entire GPU.”

Vivante Corporation will announce that its GPU GraphiVisor solution will be featured in a white paper Virtualize Conference.

“Vehicles are becoming increasingly reliant on high-tech systems for essential information and safety features, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, while at the same time consumers demand increasingly impressive user interfaces that seamlessly interface with other user technology,” said Wei-Jin Dai, CEO of Vivante Corporation. “GraphiVisor allows Vivante GPUs to maintain isolated, secure systems to satisfy both demands.”

Sphere 3D Corp., will highlight its workspace virtualization and workload optimized hyperconverged technology. It will also share some exciting new milestones tied to its recently introduced Glassware 2.0 containerization offering which can virtualize 16-, 32-, and 64-bit Microsoft Windows applications and deliver them with native functionality to almost any end-user device.
