AMD pulls back the curtain a bit more on FidelityFX 3.0

At GDC, AMD revealed more about FidelityFX 3.0, their competitor to Nvidia’s DLSS.

Every PC gamer wants to get the most out of their games with high resolutions and high FPS rates. Nvidia’s DLSS 3 is only usable on the company’s RTX 40 series cards, but it can magnificently upscale a game’s resolution. AMD’s newest version of FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR 3.0) aims to perform a similar function, using software and open-source technology.Whereas Nvidia employs a proprietary hardware solution to upscale resolutions, AMD is sticking to an open-source software.
