The PC reports are in, is it really sunny days ahead?

The three leading PC shipment counters, Canalys, Gartner, and IDC, report a 3% year-over-year growth in Q2’24. Despite this growth, PC shipments remain below pre-Covid levels, indicating no significant recovery. The industry remains unpredictable, with unit shipments around 60 million per quarter, down from 80 million a decade ago. Future market predictions should focus on semiconductor trends.
