Bentley has always been a believer and supporter of open systems. During the company’s annual Year in Infrastructure event, Bentley emphasized its message that openness will drive infrastructure forward. And one example of how Bentley is expanding the boundaries of openness is via a partnership with Google, which was announced at the conference. In order to bring geospatial context and capabilities to infrastructure to improve the way infrastructure is designed, built, and operated, Google’s rich geospatial content will be integrated into Bentley’s infrastructure engineering software and digital twin platform.
