Boxx first to market with new Intel processor

Boxx Technologies has integrated Intel Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 processors into its Apexx S-Class workstations, enhancing performance for professionals in CAD, 3D design, and motion media. The processors offer improved computing power, AI optimization, and peripheral connectivity. Boxx’s workstations feature advanced liquid cooling, up to 192GB of memory, and support for Nvidia RTX GPUs, Thunderbolt 5, and Wi-Fi 7. This combination enables faster workflows in demanding applications like SolidWorks, Autodesk, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Boxx is the first to offer workstations with Intel Core Ultra processors, which are available for order now.

Boxx Technologies announced that its Apexx S-Class workstations now feature Intel Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 processors, aimed at enhancing performance for professionals in fields such as CAD, 3D design, and motion media. The new processors, designed for demanding software applications, bring significant advancements in computing power to Boxx’s workstations.

Boxx is the first company to offer workstations equipped with the Intel Core Ultra processors, which are available for order.

Tim Lawrence, Boxx founder and chief technology officer, highlighted the benefits of the new processors, stating that Intel Core Ultra processors offer improvements in areas like AI optimization, increased PCIe lanes, and enhanced peripheral connectivity. These upgrades enable professionals to accelerate their workflows in tasks like 3D modeling, video editing, engineering, and AI-enhanced processes. The Apexx S-Class workstations, powered by Intel Core Ultra, are specifically designed to handle these demanding applications and render engines more efficiently.

The Intel Core Ultra processors feature a 24-hybrid-core architecture, offering improved hardware and software efficiency across various industries. These processors include multiple CPU cores, 24 CPU PCIe lanes, and AI capabilities to support professional software applications. The new 24-core Intel processors in the Apexx S3 and Apexx S4 workstations can reach speeds of up to 5.7 GHz, providing substantial power for professionals working on resource-intensive tasks.

Boxx workstations are for high performance, with advanced liquid cooling systems and up to 192GB of memory to handle heavy workloads. The Apexx S3 is a compact tower configurable with an Nvidia RTX or GeForce RTX GPU. In contrast, the larger Apexx S4 tower can accommodate up to two double-wide Nvidia GPUs, making both systems versatile for various professional needs. They support the latest DDR5 6400 memory, Thunderbolt 5, and Wi-Fi 7, ensuring fast and easy peripheral connections. These workstations are designed for software applications like SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Cloud, Maxon Cinema 4D, Chaos V-Ray, and Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, and Revit, offering optimal performance for both CPU and multi-GPU tasks.

Kirk Schell, CEO of Boxx Technologies, emphasized the value of the Intel Core Ultra processors in improving performance for professionals like architects, engineers, 3D designers, and motion media creators. He also noted that Boxx’s engineering, including overclocking and liquid cooling, further enhances the processors’s capabilities. Together, these innovations provide creators with the tools to improve their workflow, meet project demands, and achieve a strong return on investment (ROI) from their workstations.

Boxx was also one of the first to employ AMD’s Threadripper and Ryzen processors. The company has been a leading supplier of state-of-the-art workstations since its inception.

The APEXX S3 recommended configuration starts at $3883.00, while the APEXX S4 recommended configuration starts at $4332.00.
