Chaos has acquired EvolveLab, and in doing so, is bringing new AI tools for visualization, generative design, documentation, and interoperability into the Chaos AEC ecosystem, the industry’s end-to-end hub for design and visualization. This is Chaos’ fourth merger/acquisition in the last three years following Enscape, AXYZ Design, and Cylindo. Chaos’ mission, according to the company, is to offer a platform where architects and designers can move from concept to automated documentation without having to use a host of disconnected tools.

With this acquisition, Chaos bolsters design-to-visualization workflows. The move also brings more AEC tools into its fold—critical tools for BIM automation, AI-driven ideation, and computational design.

Designed to make workflows more efficient and effective, the EvolveLab tools seamlessly connect concept ideation, real-time visualization, photorealistic rendering, generative design, and automated AI documentation. As a result, users no longer need multiple disconnected tools in their arsenal.
