Jon Peddie, president and founder of Jon Peddie Research, is highly sought-after for his opinions on and knowledge of the high-tech industry, the graphics segment in particular. Recently, he was interviewed and his thoughts and statements were included in a report titled “Leveraging Disruption to Capitalize on Opportunity,” published by Harvard Business Review Analytic Services, the thought leadership arm of Harvard Business Review

AI

As the report states, the high-tech industry is in a state of transformation driven in part by rapid technological innovations. As a result, businesses have the opportunity to revise their models, with technology at the center.

The article points to four pivotal trends in this regard: the expansive influence of generative AI across sectors, the customization of silicon and systems-on-a-chip for specific applications, the scaling of data centers to support growing artificial intelligence (AI) operations, and the integration of industrial robotics in manufacturing and healthcare. These are topics covered regularly by Peddie and the staff of Jon Peddie Research in their reports and news coverage.

In the Harvard Business Review Analytic Services white paper, Peddie notes how AI can be a game-changer for businesses in today’s competitive landscape.

Last month, Peddie was a featured panelist on Nvidia’s GTC pregame podcast, a lead-up to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at the conference. Peddie and other luminaries were asked to discuss Nvidia’s rise and evolution in the industry, from GPU maker to its current dominance in the AI industry.
