Between the home appliances in Aisle 3 were the laptops in Aisle 7 at the IFA consumer and home electronics show in Berlin. With the rollout of new processors at the show came rollouts of AI PCs powered by the various new technology. Among the vendors with new AI PC laptops powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs were Asus and MSI, with the ZephyrusG16 and ProArt P16, and the Stealth A16+, respectively.
Hallo to the new Nvidia GeForce RTX AI-powered laptops that were announced at IFA Berlin last week and are shipping.
The laptops, from Asus and MSI, are tuned particularly for gaming and creating. They feature up to GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs delivering 321 TOPS of local AI processing power from the NPU. The power-efficient systems-on-a-chip with Windows 11 AI PC capabilities enable advanced AI in gaming, content creation, software development, and more. The Windows 11 AI PCs will get a free update to Copilot+ PC experiences upon availability, according to Nvidia.
Asus has delivered two new such laptops: the Asus Zephyrus G16 and ProArt P16, built for advanced AI acceleration. Both can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8GB) for accelerated workflows involving creative activity such as photo and video editing and image generation, as well as gaming and more.
The Zephyrus G16 has 32GB of RAM. It comes with a 16-inch, 2560´1600, 240Hz OLED display and boasts 90 Wh of battery life. It retails for $2,299. The ProArt P16, meanwhile, has an Asus Lumina 4K OLED touchscreen, up to 64GB LPDDR5X onboard RAM, a 90 Wh battery, and delivers real-time ray tracing. It sells for $2,699.
For AI on the go, MSI also began shipping its Stealth A16+ laptop, which features the latest GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU. Designed specifically for creators and gamers, the AI PC, featuring up to a Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor with up to 50 NPU TOPS and GeForce 4070 Laptop GPU delivering up to 321 AI TOPS, amplifies user tasks across gaming, creation, and productivity. According to the company, this thin and light’s battery offers 99.9 Wh for day-to-night activity, whether for work or play. The device further sports a 16-inch, 16:10 OLED or MiniLED display.
