Many, many people, including gamers, farmers, AI trainers, dentists, and LED screen builders, are complaining about the high price of a new AIB. And why shouldn’t they? A thousand dollars for an RTX 4080—who has that kind of money other than dope dealers and bitcoin traders?
Well, those clever Bulgarians have found a way to help, if not, solve the problem—you need to put a little money aside each week and save up for a new AIB.
Easy advice, no? But easy to do—also no. If it was that easy, you would have already done it, no?
So, what to do? How do you get that discipline and make it part of your daily routine and develop a positive habit?
When we were kids, we used to cut images and descriptions of things we wanted out of magazines and catalogs—we didn’t know the word “aspiration” then (not sure we do now), but it was our aspiration to get a train set, or skates, or even a bike. So, we’d put pictures of those things on the wall or our schoolbooks. Since then, we’ve learned that’s called “visualizing,” and it drives you subconsciously toward a goal you have set for yourself.
And how better a way to save for an expensive AIB than to put your loose or stolen change in a piggy bank? But what if the piggy bank was like a magazine ad that’s cut out? What if the piggy bank was an AIB? How weird and cool would that be?
Ta-da! Here they are to save the day. OLX in Sofia, Bulgaria, has an AIB piggy bank! It’s a scaled-down version of an RTX 3080 video card with coin slots.
Suitable for gift, decoration, or a place to collect money for the upcoming RTX 50XX. Our esteemed benchmarker, Mark Poppin, found this gem. It’s printed with PLA and PETG.
Contact the seller, Angelov (on OLX since March 2015). The estimated price is лв39.00, about US$22.15 today.
If you could put $3 a day in the AIB piggy bank, you could buy a new AIB in under a year.
