Nvidia has announced CuLitho, a software library that brings accelerated computing to computational lithography, accelerating the manufacturing of tomorrow’s chips. In June, TSMC will begin using the CuLitho library.Nvidia recently announced its CuLitho, a software library for computational lithography workloads that used a GPU for the acceleration. The company says it provides an order-of-magnitude speedup for such jobs. TSMC will start using the CuLitho library in June. This next step in the processes of making semiconductors offers the promise of improving yield, reducing per-chip cost, and lowering the carbon footprint associated with such processes, plus providing faster turnaround and enabling
