Intel did not get a great jump out of the gate for 2018 and CES. Yes the company threw a grand, showy event as its part of the CES opening keynotes, but it’s been haunted by rumors and then confirmations of vulnerabilities in its chips. Although, AMD, ARM, and Qualcomm have to face some of the same threats, it has hit Intel the hardest because its chips are more compromised, apparently, than its rivals, with not one but two exploits: Spectre and Meltdown.
