Nvidia releases OpenUSD Omniverse upgrade with generative AI

Nvidia introduced an Omniverse platform update at Siggraph 2023, further enhancing 3D pipelines and generative AI tools. Leveraging the OpenUSD framework, the update facilitates virtual world creation and industrial digitalization workflows. Omniverse now integrates applications like Cesium, Convai, Move AI, SideFX Houdini, and Wonder Dynamics. Improvements include the Omniverse Kit, Audio2Face app, and spatial computing capabilities. New features encompass app building, developer templates, rendering optimization, and XR integration. The update also fosters OpenUSD connections, Adobe collaboration, and expanded compatibility.
