At AWE this week, Qualcomm introduced its new Qualcomm Snapdragon XR Smart Viewer reference design that, the company says, will make it easier for hardware companies to create lightweight augmented reality glasses. XR1 is Qualcomm’s newest generation platform that, the company says, when implemented by its OEMs will bring mainstream users high-quality XR experiences.
